Breathtakingly beautiful Japanese cherry blossoms

These are the cherry blossoms at Toji Temple in Kyoto Prefecture.

Toji Temple is close to Kyoto Station and can be reached on foot.During cherry blossom season, the temple is lit up, creating a spectacular combination of the five-story pagoda and the cherry blossoms.It gets particularly crowded during cherry blossom season and the best time to see the cherry blossoms is short, but it’s definitely a place you should visit at night when the lights are on.
